WHERE FRIENDS SAY “CHEERS” & FAMILIES GATHER

Dawn & Bob O’Keefe’s first visit to Bolton Landing was to pick up their son from a friend’s lake house sleepover in 2014. During their visit into town, they had lunch and afterward, Bob walked around (as he does) while Dawn shopped (as she does).

When they met up with each other outside of The Ryefield on Lakeshore Drive, Dawn showed Bob her new shirt she picked up from Serendipity, and Bob said, “I think I found something even better”- turns out The Ryefield was for sale by owner.

Fast forward to November of that same year, when Dawn & Bob bought the property and began their restaurant renovation. They worked diligently in hopes of having their new place, The Huddle, open by Memorial Day Weekend.

With experience under their belt from their prior hometown restaurant endeavor, The Valley Pub (in Oakland, NJ), and Dawn’s childhood family business, The Fireside Inn (in Rochelle Park, NJ), they knew they could bring something to town that all would enjoy.

With help of family & friends, they got open in time and rocked all summer long. The Huddle has now been a staple in town for 8 wonderful years.
